Hiding TabPages in Tab control

I've tried to hide TabPages within a tab control at runtime by either
setting the TabPage's Visible property to False or by calling the Hide
method. Neither has any effect at all - the TabPage remains visible. Any
idea how to do this?

I've struggled with this also, and I had to resort to removing and re-adding
the tab page. (quite a mess when you want to remove & re-add tab pages near
the beginning of the tab page order).
