I am new to web development and would appreciate any help!

I need to make some modifications to our web site which is being hosted by
another company.

I have Front Page 2000 and Visual InterDev 6.0, I need to know how would
I download/redesign our web site? I would prefer to have a current copy of
our web site on local web server to test things before synchronizing with
the live site.... could somone please show me the way to the right direction....i
could use ftp to modify files but i would prefer FP so that its consistant
with all the changes i might make.
