    OCX control referencing..

    Hi ALL,

I have a VB project which refereces an OCX control. I have been using this
application for a long time & is now in production.

Today, when I opened up the vbp project to fix a bug, it said it couldn't
load the ocx control & did not have reference to it & gave this error "Error
    loading project !".

I tried to make a referce to the control again (Project, Components..), but
said the name conflicts with existing object library, but the project doesn't
recogonize it...Can anyone tell me how to resolve this suitation without
much changes as its already out in the production, i don't want to make many
    changes now.

As a result of this, my interface is totally changed now without the control..

Any help is greatly is appreciated..

    Thanks

There is nothing wrong with your project. Windows lost pointer to that library.
It happens. Solution can be as simple as re-installing control. Also DO NOT
save your project it is loaded correctly.

Your registry entry for the ocx may be messed up. Try unregistering and then
    reregistering the ocx.
