In KB articles from Microsoft Q291/5/75.ASP there is an example of how
to search for a CD-ROM drive with a note that de Windows API does not distinguish
between types of CD-ROM drives.
Well, it's hard to believe.
The question is:
Is there a way to distinguish these drives?(DVD,CDR,CDRW)
In the case of CDRW, between CD-R and CD-RW discs?
