Sending Client side file content to the Server

On an intranet, I need to read some delimited data in a file and pass it to
the server as a ADO recordset/String/Text stream. Can sombody tell me how to
pass a file's content to the server or point me to a source. I can pick up
the file using the HTML file tag.

    Thanks in advance.

Assuming you're using ASP, you'll need a third-party component to handle
the file on the server side - unless you want to write the code yourself,
    which is *not* recommended

A popular component is ASPUpload www.aspupload.com . With this you simply
stick the uploaded file in a particular directory of your choice then use
FileSystemObject to open it and do whatever...
