    Help!! Command Bars


    Hello people
    id like to know how to add a command bar to my application in visual basic.
    it's not a oofice application, it's just a plain application. but i'd like
    to use a command bar instead a toolbar, how do i do it??

    If you are referring to the Microsoft Office CommandBars I don't believe they are supported by
    Visual Basic Forms.

    There is so much toolbar code available though that I'm surprised that you would be looking at the
    Office CommandBars.

    Did you get any further help? I'd also like to add a command bar to my app.
    The Office object library doesn't expose a public createable CommandBars
    object so I don't know how to go about it. Plus, I'm not sure how it would
    site on my container form. Any ideas how we can get around it? How do the
    office apps do it?
