Displaying a Form in MMC Snapin

    Hi all,

I would like to know if there is any way to display a Form either Modal/Modeless
or any other way, inside a MMC Snapin to accept input from the user and process
it. I tried using the normal Load and Show method of a form with the Form
Style set to "Fixed Dialog" as it was done in the File Explorer MMC Sample
that ships with the Platform SDK. When I do this the form is shown but it
doesnt come on top of the MMC Console rather it gets displyed at the back
of all windows. Is there any way to make this form appear in front of all
windows or any other way of displaying a form inside an MMC snaping or MMC
console. You help will be very much appreciated.

In simple how do I display a Dialog Box to accept input from teh user within
    MMC console ??

    Regards to one and all

    Narayan -

You can use the following link to make the windows "topmost":

VBPJ had an articly back in 5/2000. If you get the magazine look is up. If
not type MMC in the search on the VB-Zone page and the first one that comes
up is the article. View the cached though. They want money for the premier
even if you subscribe to the vbpj or vsj as it is now called.

If you need the code I can email it to you. I keep all the article downloads
    at home for reference.

Michael: You may view/search the complete archives of VBPJ/VSM free of
charge at http://www.fawcette.com/archives/magazines/vsm/ . The article
you're referring to is available here (you must copy and paste the following
URL into your browser as a single line):

Thanks, I keep that in mind for future reference. Should be faster than searching
through all of my old magazines.
