Full screen image to hide flashy screen

I need help to hide a flashy screen while running a lengthy macro. Can someone
help me create a full screen image that will start when the macro begins
and end when the macro ends covering all of the screen action?

    David,

Is this Excel? If so there is a property to stop screen refreshes. I think
it is Application.ScreenUpdating=False. Don't forget to set it back to true
    when finished.
