How would I make a site that is only 800x600 in a browser? I have seen a
lot of sites done this way.

You place all your code between you <BODY> tags in a table,
with a width of 800.

If you create a liquid design, your pages can look good no matter how wide
the browser window is. Here's a good article on the topic.

Good job for a first attempt. One suggestion... Your screenshots should be
remade (start from scratch with fresh screen shots) as .gifs, using an
adaptive palette. They be smaller and, because you won't have the lossy
compression artifacts common to .jpgs, they'll be crisper too.
