    Divs and drop down menus

I have a JavaScript menu (like on microsoft) that I use on all of my pages
and I also have a page with a form on it. On the form is a drop down menu
(the standard browswer one). When I mouseover MY menu, my menu appears BEHIND
the standard drop down menu. Since the drop down element (the browser one)
is a windowed element, it does not support the zIndex property, so I cannot
set that to make my menu appear in front. I am looking for a way to make
my menu overlap the form element, but I see no way to do it. My menu elements
are made up of absolutely positioned <div> tags. Please help

All form element eg radio buttons, checkboxes are part of teh window element
and so they have the highest priority regardless.

They will always show over the top of your menu elements.

    I hope this helps.

I had the same problem a few days ago. Sadly, there is no way to get around
this elegantly, so what I did was to make the drop-down box invisible when
the menu is shown and then set it back to visible when the menu is hidden.
Not perfect, I know, but at least the menu stays in front.
By the way, you might want to to try clipping the drop-down box for better
    results.
