    windows media player and netscape 6.1

    i embedded wmp in a html document. now i want to control the player via javascript.
    my code works with IE (and NS 4.7), but not with netscape 6.1. even though
    i used the new DOM rules, like accesing the media player object by:

    <script lang=js... >
    function ...
    var elem = document.getElementsById("mediaplayer");
    elem.play();
    </script>

    why does this not work, anyone knows?

    thanx oliver
