Does anyone know the current status of VB7?
IOW is it already feature-complete?

Microsoft does not generally release information such as that. They did
state that they were NEARLY ready for an alpha, which traditionally would
mean that they are code complete and that thus all planned features are in
(and they now just have to find all the bugs and ship).
But Microsoft has NEVER kept people up to date on status, it was amazing
that they even stated what they did publicly. So I doubt you will find out
this info beyond the kind of supposition I made above.
