    Re: Treeview Control

    Here is a sub I use to quickly clear a treeview control.

    '**********************************************************
    ' Name: gClearTreeViewNodes
    ' Purpose: Quicky clears a treeview control
    ' Parameters: rTreeView - TreeView control
    ' Returns: none
    '**********************************************************
    Public Sub gClearTreeViewNodes(ByRef rTreeView As TreeView)
    Dim hItem As Long
    Dim hWnd As Long

    hWnd = rTreeView.hWnd

    ' lock the window update to avoid flickering
    Call SendMessageLong(hWnd, WM_SETREDRAW, False, &O0)

    ' clear the treeview
    Do
    hItem = SendMessageLong(hWnd, TVM_GETNEXTITEM, TVGN_ROOT, 0)
    If hItem <= 0 Then Exit Do

    Call SendMessageLong(hWnd, TVM_DELETEITEM, &O0, hItem)
    Loop

    ' unlock the window
    Call SendMessageLong(hWnd, WM_SETREDRAW, True, &O0)

    End Sub 'gClearTreeViewNodes

    Enjoy
