Using Alter Table SQL declare a field with decimal places

    Hi,
I need to alter a table and set the new fields to two decimal places. I can
set up the SQL Alter Table in VBA fine but only with INT as the datatype
how do I set this up with 2 decimal places. I have tried DEC for decimal
but that doesn't seem to work. I am using Access 2000.

    Thanks for any help

Does Access 2000 have a decimal data type? I don't have 2000 installed
currently. I have Access 97 which doesn't have decimal listed as a choice
    and XP which does.
