Learning to Animate in Macromedia Flash MX
The tutorial for Learning to Animate in Macromedia Flash MX is one of the
best I've ever tried. I have been working with Flash for a while but have
found animating text not very intuitive. This tutorial is dense with information:
layers, Breaking Apart, graphic symbols, shape and motion tweens, shape hints,
etc. It's also very easy to follow. The information is readable, well-illustrated
and contains all the necessary information for someone who, like me, is not
yet an expert. (Note: There does seem to be a small error in the second paragraph
of the "Create a Shape Tween Animation." It says "Repeat these steps for
keyframes 24 and 36 in the "Shape Animation" layer." I think it should be
keyframes 12 and 24.) Thanks for an extremely useful tutorial.

Re: Learning to Animate in Macromedia Flash MX
Lynn,
Thank you for your feedback. I've enjoyed the series, too, and am gratified
to hear from a happy reader. We've commissioned a series of 10 Flash
tutorial from that author and I hope you find them all as useful.
(The error your reported I thought had been fixed. I'll have to look into it
once more. Thanks again.)
