I must misundestand? You don't mean "REPORT FORM MyFrxName TO PRINTER NOCONSOLE
    PREVIEW"
do you? (I added the TO PRINTER NOCONSOLE because I got the impression from
    Help that you needed
that to send to the printer and without it, PREVIEW would not send it to
    the printer.)

    George,

The only way it'll be viewable at all is if you don't SET CONSOLE OFF, but
that's just going to stream the data to the screen. You'll have no
    pageup/dagedown preview facility.

Seriously you should move on from using 15 year old Xbase coding styles and
use a REPORT FORM which gives you a lot more flexibility.

If you're using the old @ SAY syntax, your only choice is to call the report
twice--once for the screen and once for the printer. You must SET DEVICE TO
SCREEN to display on the screen (that's the default, anyway) and SET DEVICE
TO PRINTER to send it to the printer. If you're doing this under Win95 or
later, there's no guarantee this will work.

Or, if you're absolute wedded the the old style, you might try
translating it to Word Automation. You can't place things as easily,
but you can do a heck of a lot more...

I wonder if John Koziol's utility would work for this? I'm not up on how
that project is going...but if the poster is interested, he can find info
    about it on the www.universalthread.com

    Nancy,

John's tool converts .frx based reports to Word. I don't think it does @SAY.

    Thanks for the clarification, David.
