Can't copy all files?
Hello
I tried copying the directory containing a VFP 6 project. Next thing I know
the new copy doesn't contain the database file (i.e. with the dbc
extension). Why is this so? I copied the whole directory. How can I fix
this?
Thanks

Did you try copying all files or just files with a dbf extension? This should
work:
copy file c:\Acer to c:\dialers

Re: Can't copy all files?
Thanks for your reply
I tried copying everything, ie the whole contents of the directory, in Windows
file
explorer. Does this mean I have to execute the copy command within FoxPro
itself? Obviously I want to make sure my backup copies are OK.

Perhaps the database was open at the time, so wasn't copied?
