    GIF Image In VFP


    We can Display Bitmap by command

    @ 2,2 say 'Logo.bmp' bitmap

    but if i want to display animated GIF, this command doesn't show animated
    GIF. Is there any solution to this problem.

    @...SAY is pretty obsolete. Use an Image control, instead.

    There is an OCX solution to handle "simple" animated gif images on our =
    local
    user group site - http://mmfudg.lansing.com/tips_etc.htm (ANIGIF.ZIP). =
    If
    you need a more industrial strength product there is gif89.dll and at =
    least
    one other available solution on the UT =
    (http://www.universalthread.com/).
    There are also 3rd party graphics controls that can do a lot more.

    In VFP 8.0, the image control will do this automatically because of the =
    new GDI+ capabilities.
