Image Lists and Listboxes

I am currently writing an application where I wish to display a list of items
and their corresponding icon. The CImageList class is great, but I would
like to use a listbox, rather than a listctrl, and the listbox class does
not support Image lists. Is it possible to insert images into this control
without too much or any owner drawing?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
