    statically linked libraries

    Hi,

    I use Visual C++ 6 and I would like to change the setup of my project. The
    last question in the MFC AppWizard is:
    How would you like to use the MFC library?
    - As a shared DLL or as a statically linked library.

    The wizard has created the project as shared DLL and now I don't find in
    the setting property the ability to change to static.

    (Note: On my old Borland product it was so easy...)

    Any ideas to change this linker option?

    Thank you

    Main Menu::Project::Settings (or Alt-F7)
    On the 'General' tab there is a list box titled: "Microsoft Foundation Classes".
    Select "Use MFC in a Static Library". Re-compile.
