Help required on Enterprise solutions(ASP vs ASP.NET)

    Hi all,
I have a question regarding ASP.NET or the .NET platform in general. I am
familiar with the MS architecture of VB/ASP as front end, MTS as middle layer
and SQL as backend. We used COM components for developing business logic
and hosted it on MTS for object pooling and Transaction management.

What is the equivalent model (at least for Transaction Management) in the
    .NET platform

    Thanks in Advance

the front and back end layers are quite similar in design but implemntaionwise
ASP.NET and VB.NET are different from their DNA representatives i.a ASP
and VB , but the in the middle layer .NET has introduced .NET components
which are much simple to implement and have many advantages over COM , differneces
among COM and .NET components can be easily found
