    Reading strings from file


    I am having problems reading my chararaters from file into variables, how
    do i go about it.

    char x[line size];

    ifstream inf;
    inf.open("file);

    inf.read(x, line size);

    this reads everything, even whitespace.

    or use
    inf >> x; to get one string, seperated by whitespace.
