    fflush and getline

I've found that I need to call fflush(stdin)after using
getline(cin, temp, '\n') before I can use the next getline function.

This means that I must hit return twice before I can enter the next line
of text. Why is that and is there a way around it?

    Thanks,

    Magnus

    Re: fflush and getline

this is a bug in the VC++ iostream library. However, you shouldn't use
fflush(stdin). Try cin.sync(); instead or intersperse the cin and cout
operations so that after each getline call, you have a cout<<
expression. This will force a cin buffer flush.
