    Friends, how can I enable fopen to open a file in a folder name with spaces
    (e.g. c:\program files\text.txt)?

    c:\\program files\\text.txt

    The backslash is a special character, so in order to include a real backslash,
    you have to put two of them

    More specifically for read access:
    FILE *fp = fopen("c:\\program files\\text.txt", "r");

    the point being that the space doesn't affect fopen().
