    Crystal Reports and ASP.NET

    Hi to all,

Working on crystal reports with ASP.NET at the moment.one of the fields displayed
in a report is a varchar(1000). In my local machine,I have successfully displayed
this information for each record. However, on another server, the information
overflows and overlaps into the next record, causing illegible reading of
report in html. when i print, it looks beautiful. everything is perfect.
i seem to be having this problem only when i render in html AND on another
    server.

I looked into the files meant for crystal reports on that web server, field
formatting in CR9.0, browser version. Does not seem to be a problem. Maybe,
    browser settings?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Suresh

    Hi,

I just solved the same problem in CR9 by checking the 'Can Grow' option
in then Common tab of the Format Editor of the field causing the problem
and then selecting 1 in the Maximum Number of Lines field.

    Regards
