Can't even start with ASP
I have installed the option pack 4, and created new virtual directory--I think
I followed the instructions.
Now I have all kinds of problems. I can run my simple asp page when I write
C:\Intranet\default.asp but not
when I go through the server. And it doesn't execute the scripts. I check
the execute permission. I have a for
loop that should go 7 times, it only executes once. And how do you change
the registry keys for EnableParentPaths?
Pls help!! I don't know where to look for this answers -- any help will
be much appreciated.
TIA

Re: Can't even start with ASP
if your page executes once then asp is working, its your script thats
probably got a problem.
test its working with a simple
<%
hello world
%>
you should not see the <% signs
Enabling the parent paths can be done through the mmc console, have a look
at all the options - especially under the home directory
