Problem in Using Visual SourceSafe for Interdev
I am not pretty sure whether I should post here, but u all are expect in web
development, so maybe I can get the answer from u guys.
I want to centralize control my web project like what I normally done in
VB. After I create the VSS database in my server, and get latest version
to load it to my local working folder, normally I can have the check-in &
check-out menu item when I right click on the file of project explorer in
VB.
In Interdev, after I get latest version from VSS in my client workstation
and open it with Interdev, I still don't have the check-in & check-out menu
item when I right click on any of my project file in my Interdev.
I get the following error message when I try to add to source control inside
my InterDev:
Either Source Control not install or wrong user name. But it does work in
VB.
There r web project option in Visual Source Safe Server setting, which is
different from normal project. Maybe that is one of the reason too.
Pls Help !
