how do i create a process i would like to start a process in AutoCad. does
anyone have any ideas. I would like to have a button that will launch AutoCAD
after i pick a file from the tree menu then click the (made autocad button)

Assuming Win32, you can use CreateProcess or ShellExecute Win32 APIs.
