    VC++ Debugger-LogonUser Problem

    Platform - Windows 2000 Pro.- VC6.0

    When running the debugger
    I keep getting the Error
    A required privilege is not held by the client. (1314)

    When trying to use the LogonUser system call.
    I am logged onto the system as in the Administrator group with full
    privleges. Even calling LogonUser and handing in the
    correct Admin info I still get the aforementioned error.

    When I run my program, (Not using the debugger),
    I do not get this Logon error.

    Any suggestions ??

    Thanks in advance for your time, trouble and advice.

    You will get better advice in the M$ newsgroup. So I suggest you post there.

    IMHO: I think you need to re-install using the admin account and your user
    account. Do you by chance have two profiles? (a username and a username.000).
