    .NET2002 or .NET2003

    Hi,

    I am considering buying VS.NET. The price difference between .NET2002 and
    .NET2003 is quite big.
    Why would anyone buy .NET2003 (arbitrary edition) if .NET2002 (the same edition)
    +29 USD upgrade would be much cheaper?
    Is there any catch?
    Will I miss some features if I opt out for the latter purchase?

    First of all, you want to post technical questions such as this on
    c++.windows.development.
    As for your question: it all depends on what you intend to do with this IDE. The
    2003 edition fixes some bugs that existed in the 2002 version, offers better
    ANSI/ISO compliance (much better, actually!), and probably a few more gadgets. So
    the extra of $29 seems reasonable to me. However, if you're using this compiler for
    a college course of C++ exclusively then there's probably no reason to upgrade it.
