Out of memory on report
I converted a report that prints checks from dos. It was using a macro
to call a form that was loaded into the printer. I have included those images
into the report. Total report size with images is about 200kb. I figure around
5000 pages will need to be printed. The problem is it prints about 150 and
I get printer out of memory and hard drive out of room. I have almost 7 gig
on the hard drive free when I start and when I get that error there is only
about 20meg. iN THE WINDOWS TEMP DIRECTORY IT IS CREATING a bunch of tmp
files. Not sure why? they are also around 1300kb but one for every page it
seems. Is there a setting that I am missing somewhere or a fix for this or
I am I just SOL?

Re: Out of memory on report
This is a windows print spooling problem.
In your printer options tab in control panel -
you have a choice to spool or print directly to the printer.
Suggest you flip it to 'print directly to the printer'
and see the differences in operation.
there is a difference in 'printer dump file' sizes versus 'actual image
sizes' -
what is the printer manufacturer and model # ? what is the OS ? are you
using any network printer queue?
Are you using true type fonts or printer fonts ?
