alright i have a question that i cant figure out..when i start my computer and i come into windows i get a runtime error stating

    program c:\program file\common file\updmgr\updgmr.exe

this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.

i was wanting to know if anyone knew what this meant,i think its in my java cuz now i cant see java applets anymore like if i went to play yahoo games i cant cuz i get the lil square, circle, triangle thing in the upper left hand corner of the page. im running off windows xp and this happened cuz i used the system restore a few times and came back to my current setting then started doing this.

Just a wild guess. Hope it helps.

    Have a look at:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;193691

The above site was a result of a google search on keywords: wupdmgr.exe. Your message talks about updmgr.exe, but I thought I'd take a chance and provide this information anyway.

Also check your web browser Java settings. See attached word file.
