ASP Update or Insert error in Apache Server with IIS
I made some pages in ASP 2.0 to exchange data with an Access DB 97. It
worked fine in my NT Server. All of it. But when we put it in an Apache
Server, the UPDATE's and the INSERT's SQL instructions gave problems,
and the error phrase was of the type "Not an updateable query". But the
SELECT instructions work like there was no problem at all! What does it
mean ? First I thought that, as I always done in ASP with Access, the
INSERT instructions, I never did mentioned the Auto-Number because it
automatically put it, even if you don't explicitily write it... But in
UPDATE, it was the same thing and it didn't have this reason... If
someone could help me, I would really be very grateful.
Thanks in advance again.
