    Open a file on a network drive

    Hello, I have run into a small problem. I am trying to read a txt file that is on my h:\ which is a networked drive. I seem to be unable to read it, here is what I have
    ifstream infile;
    infile.open ( "H:\Database\ATS\matsout.txt" ); //open file
    if ( infile.fail () )
    {
    clrscr();
    cout << "matsout.txt did not open." << endl;
    cout << "Please ensure that matsout.txt is in C: drive." << endl;
    cout << "Press any key to Exit." << endl;
    getch();
    exit(0);
    }
    If i change the directory to C: it works fine. I would love any help you have to offer.
    Thanks

    "H:\Database\ATS\matsout.txt" should be "H:\\Database\\ATS\\matsout.txt"

    Does that work?
