Possible to make a login with XML?
Hi ya guys,
I was wondering wether or not it is possible to make a login feature with XML?? ( all links, and ideas on the matter welcome!!!)
If it is possible can one make it without a database and use the xmlform itself as a "database/datadocument"?
I am doing an assignment where eveything should be XML...and really could use some help on this one!
Thanks in advance....

Hi Ynja,
I haven't tried this, but this might be something you would want to check into: http://www.webdevelopersjournal.com/...jsp_logon.html
To save alot of file creation yourself, the files are also listed at the bottom of the page.

Yes, it is possible and it is the basic architectural assumption of the fourfive project. Everything there, from login, database connection definitions, menus, trees, reports, security is just XML interpreted on the fly to get a full web application. Take a look at http://sourceforge.net/projects/fourfive
