Display opositeTriangles
Hi;
I have two adjacent triangles with opposite oientations (CCW and CW), the problem comes when I subdivide both each to four triangles (half edge cut). When I subdivide for the second time, the resulting surface look disconnected (at the shared edge). The gap is clear at that stage because I am performing an averaging(smoothing) step besides subdivision, thus the surfacelooke smoother and the gap appears!!
How to come around this problem, so that the user would view a continuous surface?
P.s I am using Java3D
Regards;
