We are trying to run a shell script from within a java application on MAC OS-X. Everything works great until another application on the computer opens up that eats up quite a bit of cpu. Once that application is opened, out application freezes up and just gives up the pinwheel(thinking) until we force quit. Any help is greatly appreciated.
