Welcome to DevX

You didn't say what kind of database so this is a generic book link.

Still not specific enough.

Are you using SQL Server 2000? SQL Server 2005? SQL Server 2008?

Are you using the full SQL Server or an Express version?

Ok, now I'm confused... you are saying that you have nothing to do with the database, but actually need help using XML with ASP?

(PS: sql server and MS Access are totally different)

ok here's the deal
A friend of mine and I are programming a web portal. He has to take care about the database and I have to take care about the interface. He used ASP(active server page ) with MIcrosoft access.I was thinking to use xml for the interface (this interface is connected with the database that my friend already did). My friend advice was to use dhtml but i wanted to learn xml (don't know if this is a good or bad idea anyway I saw some xml and I liked it). So at this point I am looking for a book the can help me to build the interface and make me connect it with the database.
