People having problems with POGO

Hi, all.

There have been a few posts from people on this site concerning problems with POGO Java games. It would appear that this is a fairly widespread problem for quite a number of folk... below is a link which details some admirable research into this situation. It may not necessarily solve much, but it should atleast explain WHY.

Hope this helps,

Most java application errors are the result of the client not possessing the most recent Virtual Machine.

Question Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My computer was in the shop twice in the last month for a virus. Each time I have gotten it back and downloaded Java. Now when I try to play Pogo games I keep getting the same error message:

Java Plug-In Fatal Error
The Java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded.

If I take the time to unistall Java and then download it again I don't have the problem. But I am having to do this every 2 to 3 days!!!!

Is there a way to fix this??????????????????

Question

I have also gotten this error message:

Java Plug-In Fatal Error
Several Java virtual machines running in the same process caused an error.

I only have AOL open and Pogo up. Nothing else!!
