What conceptual enhancements does MobileIP have over standard IP protool?
The Mobile IP protocol allows the mobile node to use two IP addresses: a fixed home address and a care-of address that changes at each new point of attachment. This technique solves the problem of the TCP protocol: when you move to a different node, your connection is assigned a different IP address and the original connection is lost.
