Can't create a new ASP.NET project
For some reason, I can no longer create web projects on my computer, or on
a remote computer. When I try to create it, I get this error message:
"The default web access mode is set to file share, but the project folder
at 'http://localhost/test' cannot be opened with the path 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\test'.
The error returned was:
Unable to create the project 'Test'. The file path 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\test\'
does not correspond to the URL 'http://localhost/test'. The two need to
map to the same server location."
I've tried reading the help and I only get stupid solutions like "make sure
your LAN cable is plugged in" or "make sure you have permission." When I
first got this computer I was able to create web projects fine. I have not
changed this computer much since then. What am I doing wrong?
BEFORE YOU ANSWER:
I have already made sure that all the sharing and security is set up properly,
and there is no project called 'Test' already added (that is just a hypothetical
name).

This may not apply to you but since I don't know what versions of software/OS you are using it might
be worth a try:
