    ASP INCLUDES

    Hello,

I would like to start a free hosting service, I have a large virtual hosting
account on a Win2K box and would like to use ASP for creating INCLUDES on
members pages. I would like to setup the system so that when ever some uploads
or requests a page from my domain they will see a small banner located on
the bottom of the page. I have no idea on how to do this, I am a beginner.
I did find this site http://www.aspsite.com/asp/tutorials...s/default.aspx
that has info on include files. I wonder if this can even be done on virtual
    hosting and if so, how?

I know that I can use INCLUDE but, how do i get the server to attact that
code to ever page either when it is uploaded to the server or requested by
    a viewer?

    Thanks,
    Mahesh B.

    Re: ASP INCLUDES

When you receive the uploaded page on the server, open the file, locate the
closing </body> tag, insert your banner #include before it, and then save
the file. You will need to check that you've located the last </body> tag,
because some HTML files have more than one.

I can think of other ways to handle this, let us know here if this solves
    your problem.
