Running an Access Report dynamically from ASP
I wanted to find out if there is a way to call an Access created report from
an ASP page.
Here is what I see doing:
1. The user selects the name of the report you want to run and the parameters
for the report; lets say a date range.
2. Connecting to the Access DB and passing the report name along with the
filters/sort.
3 Displaying the report in the browser (If possible?)
I know there are other options/products that will allow for on-line reporting
like I described. But I want to make sure we can't handle this with the
tools we already have. I am going to continue my research to see if I can
dig up anything. If I find anything I will follow up.
Thanks in Advance for any help or suggestions!

Re: Running an Access Report dynamically from ASP
Thanks Harish.
The 4guyfromrolla link does have some useful information in it(since we are
concerned with dynamic/no static reports).
Not sure that we are going to use the 4guysfromrolla method because, from
what i have read so far, we would need to have access installed on each server
(this is for a product which will be installed in a lot of different locations
and each will need to run its own reports from their local web-server).
It looks like we may go the ActiveReports2 route so we can distribute a royality-free
run-time to create the reports dynamically at each location.
