    SwitchBoard

    Hello!

My question pertains to a question about the switchboard option. Actually, I do not want to have a switchboard, instead I would like display a form when I open the database. Can anyone help? Do I even need to have code for this option? Any help would be great! Thanks

I'm assuming you're using Access. In Access2000, you can go to the tools\startup menu. Then set the display form to which ever form you want. I forget how you would do this in Access97. I believe you right click the database window and select options or starup.

Another way to do this is create a macro named autoexec. Set the action to Open Form and select the form in the properties.

A97 is the same as A2000 in this regard. Tool->Startup; Select the startup object. Autoexec macro does the trick also! :-)
