    Tiif Format

    Hi All

I like to read the tiff format and draw that into picture box.
Is there any coding is already exists in VB if so please let me know or how
to process. Because tiff has more than 50 formats has of my knowledge.

Let me know how to proceed

Have a look at these libraries, I'm sure there's plenty more about though:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeimage
    http://www.codeproject.com/bitmap/cximage.asp
    Hope this helps,

    Mike

If you wish to write the format support in pure VB then head over to
Http://www.Wotsit.org/ where you'll find the format specification, otherwise
you'll need to use one of the third party libraries mentioned in my prior
post or commercial components - There is no native Tiff support in VB.
    Hope this helps,

    Mike

    Have a look at
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...77a-01b8-4de6-
    91c2-b7ea32537e29&DisplayLang=en
The Windows Image Acquisition Automation Library v2.0 offers the ability to
load and save various graphics formats from VB, including .tiff
There are VB samples that show you how.
I understand that it requires XP or W2000 with a service pack...
