Raising an event in ASP page if possible

Im using VB6 and Im writing some asp pages,And im not using .net. I create
an object in my asp that is an active X DLL created with my VB6. Here is
    my question

If my object (the VB active X DLL) raises an event to pass information to
the application, can my ASP receive that information and how would it be
done if it is possible to do so?

lets say that the DLL raises the event below
Public Event ServerFunc(ByVal strFuncToken As String, _
    ByRef vararrayParms As Variant, _
    ByVal strIP As String, _
    ByVal lPort As Long)

would I be able to receive that event in my ASP page? and if so how would
    I do so?
If its possible please show me an example, thanks.

    The short answer is NO.

You cannot use ASP as an event sink. If you want to capture these events
create another DLL that instantiates the original dll and listens for the
    events.

Every thing I read recommends you do not use events with ASP
