    Question Multi Users

    Hi,
This is the first time that I am trying to do something like this. How can I be able to let more than 3 users to share the same database (using visual basic 6 and MDB)?
    Thank you,
    Moe.

You shouldn't have to do anything special. What problem are you having?

    Question

    Well, I need some answers:
1/ do you I have to install the same program on each user computer?
2/ if not, what do I need to do?
3/ is it the time to use the connect command? if so, how?
    thank you,

Yes, you'll have to install the VB executable on each user's machine. The shared database should reside on the network, at a location accessible to each user.

I don't understand your third question. What data access method are you using (e.g., ADO, DAO, RDO, etc.)?

    Question

    Hi,
well I must use the Connect command on my exe program in order to connect to the shared database(because I always use the opendatabase to access the database).
Do you have a sample of the line that I must use to let the user access the shared database?
    Thank you,
    Moe

Sorry, I am not familiar with the "Connect command." There is a good tutorial on how to create multiuser database applications using VB/DAO here: http://www.softlookup.com/tutorial/d...7.asp#Heading2
