Cannot check-in code from studio to vss

For some reason, I cannot check in code from visual studio. The message says it is checking in the items, but it never does. I can check out, get latest etc. I have to open VSS and check items in.

Anyone run into a similar error before? Could there be a log file somewhere that would be useful?

In you srcsafe.ini file there is an entry for the location of your log file.
Journal_File = \\Servername\SSDBShareName\Log\Journal

You can view it using NotePad.

I would make certain that you're connecting to the appropriate SourceSafe database. You can verify this by running the Admin utility.
