Exclamation How to create Setup.exe file given a Vb Project

    Dear Friends
I hav got a readymade VB project. I wanted to know how to create
Setup.exe file of the Vb project. i hav seen it b4 and i wondered how it can be done
It means the user will not hav to run Vb project directly. The user should be able to use the Vb project With the installation he performed with the
    setup.exe file

Eg: consider project Natural lang proceesor:
Here the user will be given the setup.exe file of such a proccesor( originally developed in Vb) and after installing the file he can directly run the processor without using Vb.

I don't know what you mean. Do you mean creating the executable, or creating an installer? If you want to create an executable, just go to "File", then "Create (Filename).exe". If you mean an installer, I don't know any of them but there is a zip utility that can create a self-extractor for the file(s), and it uses a simular method of installation. It is called WinRar.

    Hope this helps.

Hi use Package & Deployment Wizard to create a self installing vb package. It is a buildin utility available with visualbasic.
