importing data
Hi! I am trying to import data from an excel file into enterprise manager. I have an existing table called "agents" which contains info and I want to import more data. I have right clicked on the "agent" table and used the import wizard, but when I complete the transfer, I can't find my info. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Look in your database for a new table. Imports generally create a table, rather than importing into an existing one.

Can I not import into an existing table?
Thanks!

You can, but not by right-clicking on the desired table. Instead, you must explicitly choose the destination table during the "Select Source Tables and Views" step of the DTS Import/Export Wizard. Expand the Destination column and you'll see that the wizard imports into a new table by default.
